  This was a great place to stay. I was recommended Palazzo Citta Valletta by a friend who had stayed there a couple of years ago. We stayed in the Garden Suite on the ground floor which opens out onto the Pallazzo's courtyard where you can dine outside if you to use your self catering facilities.   Our apartment was newly renovated and fully equipped. All towelling & bedding was new and our beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in whilst on holiday. Even small items like salt & pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel, dishcloths were provided. We also had an iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster & microwave. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.
