  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... vad folk säger » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. I was a solo traveler who wanted to explore the whole country, and for that the location was great. I would definitively come back, I am already missing the bacon and eg

  We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils. The hotel was not especially booked, but it pleased us again to notice that we got nice seaview balcony (not all balconies... vad folk säger » feature seaview, some overlook a side street).   I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VB Apartments. The owner was friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. The breakfast supplies were an added bonus as were the computer and wifi access. The apartment is situated very conveniently.   The location is quiet and there is a grocery shop nearby. Great for getting around on foot and with public transport in Sliema/Balluta Bay. The staff are very friendly and helpful.   We´ve stayed for 3 nights at Sally Port City Pads. It is perfectly located, just 5 minutes from the centre, but in a quiet backstreet. It’s a nice old building, but the apartment is tastefully decorated and with modern interior. Liliana (the owner) was just great. She is really friendly and gave us recommendations about restaurants and insider tip... vad folk säger » s about touristic stuff, she also booked us the taxi to the airport. Quality and price are absolutely worth a visit. - The apartment was centrally located and very tastefully decorated. The location was excellent and within walking distance to many attractions and the main bus terminus. We were given a warm welcome by the owner, Liliana who was just lovely and extremely helpful. We had an amazing time in Valletta and hope to visit Sally Port City Pads in the not too distant future.
