  Best family holiday so far. Melleiha has the most child friendly beach in Malta, it is also one of the largest. The apartment is located in the centre of Melleiha high street and a short bus ride from the beach (€2.60 adult return) or 20 mins walk (long steep hill). All facilities needed were included, along with a washer dryer which really helped keep - We appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the hosts, who were only too happy to help with any questions or queries, and source anything that we needed. The apartment was the best we'd stayed in. It's like a home away from home, complete with laundry, two good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It had everything we needed plus more. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough to anyone wanting superior accommodation in beachside Mellieha. We could just see the ocean from our balcon

  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... vad folk säger » very well). The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays.   Our apartment was newly renovated and fully equipped. All towelling & bedding was new and our beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in whilst on holiday. Even small items like salt & pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel, dishcloths were provided. We also had an iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster & microwave. Upon return to our apartment later that day we noticed our bathroom floor was comp - Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.   John and Dee were very accommodating and made me feel at home straight away. I arrived after midnight but was still warmly welcomed. There was a tv in the lounge/breakfast area (which was very characterful and inviting) with hot drinks facilities available. John could provide very useful loca - Knights in Malta is a beautiful old property with lovely designed spacious rooms. John and Dee are very friendly and made the stay quite special by e.g. serving malta specialities for breakfast. Naxxar is a great location for exploring Malta as nothing is further then 30min away. We had a small car and could explore the whole island easily. Also most of the good dive shops and dive sites are only 15min away. We definitely recommend this as the place to stay for your holiday in Malta
