  Location! We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harb... vad folk säger » our water surface intensified it. As if they were in Suleiman's army again and shooting at forts. It was very interesting to wake up at 8am gunfire an - Views of the Grand Harbour could not be bettered. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.

  Loved the location in the centre of the Old Town close to all the historical sites,buildings, shops, transport and Museums. The staff were very friendly and the room, though small, was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts and very good value for money. - Everything was top notch. We were very much pleased with its location - very near the main sights and famous restaurants. It's also very comfortable to get to the bus station from the hotel and travel about the island. Our flat with the sea view was very comfortable and homey. Our children were happy to get toy horses as a present and on the whole I should say our emotions during the holiday were extremely positive.
