  Best family holiday so far. Melleiha has the most child friendly beach in Malta, it is also one of the largest. The apartment is located in the centre of Melleiha high street and a short bus ride from the beach (€2.60 adult return) or 20 mins walk (long steep hill). All facilities needed were included, along with a washer dryer which really helped keep - We appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the hosts, who were only too happy to help with any questions or queries, and source anything that we needed. The apartment was the best we'd stayed in. It's like a home away from home, complete with laundry, two good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It had everything we needed plus more. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough to anyone wanting superior accommodation in beachside Mellieha. We could just see the ocean from our balcon

  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. I was a solo traveler who wanted to explore the whole country, and for that the location was great. I would definitively come back, I am already missing the bacon and eg

  Management excellent. Cuisine excellent. We enjoyed the very nice and quiet village Marsaxlokk with perfect communication by bus if we wanted to visit other places on the island.   Very friendly landlord, mr Mario. He was very helpful in finding interesting activities on the island. We rented a car without navi so Mario gave us his own free of charge. He even add some interesting places on the map. Also we could leave the luggage or use the separated bathroom after checkout. The apartment is clean and modern, close to the shops and restaurants. Generall - Mario was really kind and helpful. The apartment was stylish, nice and spacious, situated in a calm part of Mellieha. It was easy to park the car right outside the building. It was easy to get to and from with the main road three blocks away and the city center three blocks in the opposite direction. We would highly recommend Shamrock Flats.
