  John and Dee were very accommodating and made me feel at home straight away. I arrived after midnight but was still warmly welcomed. There was a tv in the lounge/breakfast area (which was very characterful and inviting) with hot drinks facilities available. As a solo traveller on this occasion it was great to be able to chat with other guests at the breakfast table. John could provide very useful loca - Knights in Malta is a beautiful old property with lovely designed spacious rooms. John and Dee are very friendly and made the stay quite special by e.g. serving malta specialities for breakfast. Naxxar is a great location for exploring Malta as nothing is further then 30min away. We had a small car and could explore the whole island easily. Also most of the good dive shops and dive sites are only 15min away. We definitely recommend this as the place to stay for your holiday in Malta

  Nice renovated old house in the old neighborhood. Close to some attractions (Hypogeum + Tarxien Temples). Very friendly and talkative hosts. No problem with parking close to the property. You stay in the big family house (five children). If you prefer to have a full privacy at quiet place, this property is not for you. If you accept it, you can be... mitä ihmiset sanovat » rewarded with observing the normal (big) family life in Malta. The neighborhood was peaceful. Almost no noise inside from cars. Roosters have ensured - Absolutely recommended! While booking you should consider that it's a family-run guest house - as for us, much more intersting place than a five star hotel. Not for petty-minded finicking people jiggling the staff all the time but respectful ones who are rather curious to a wonderful family living in Malta too. Whenever returning to Malta we'll choose them again. Tho we don't have other experiences with accomodation in there, are sure that it just can't be better. Besides, Tarxien is an excelle

  Last night tonight of a wonderful weeks stay with Violet and Albert at Ta Bertu. A beautiful Maltese home awaits you with all you need for a fantastic holiday. Set in beautiful gardens with a fabulous pool, you are made to feel totally welcome by your hosts who are full of information and helpful advice if you need it. Lovely typical - Albert and Violet are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool is lovely and the meals were fantastic and value for money. You must try Alberts home made wine it is delicious (we brought 2 bottles home with us to have at Christmas). We stayed in room 3 but we did not have any of the problems that some other reviewers had. It was not noisey when someone had a shower. Everywhere was accessible by bus and was very easy to use.
