I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. The building is unique and interesting - nothing boring here, but not too much either. The welcome was just right - the hosts are friendly and hospitable, but not intrusive. They were helpful, kind and accommodating. Everything in the guest house felt well cared-for and clean, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my second time at Bla Dorren, and it has been just right once again! The beautiful building is decorated simply which enhances the beauty of the high ceilings and tile floors and the abundant light from outside. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. The location has been quite convenient, near the bay, near the bus, plenty of dining, and many places to walk. The hosts are kind and attentive, but never intrude.

Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.

Knights in Malta is a beautiful old property with lovely designed spacious rooms. John and Dee are very friendly and made the stay quite special by e.g. serving malta specialities for breakfast. Naxxar is a great location for exploring Malta as nothing is further then 30min away. We had a small car and could explore the whole island easily. Also most of the good dive shops and dive sites are only 15min away.
We definitely recommend this as the place to stay for your holiday in Malta

It's a budget hotel, but clean and appears to have been recently renovated. We were only there overnight so didn't try out the breakfast or the WiFi. I have spent a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to stay in room 601. It was comfortable, clean and best of all, overlooking the the bay. Albert and Violet are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool is lovely and the meals were fantastic and value for money.
