We enjoyed the very nice and quiet village Marsaxlokk with perfect communication by bus if we wanted to visit other places on the island.
We are looking forward to our next visit to Marsaxlokk and Duncan Holiday Accomodation! -
Michael, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming and looked after us very well. Our room was very spacious and well equipped. Marsaxlokk is a great place to stay - pretty and quiet with lots of choice of restaurants.

Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.

The location is convenient, away from the tourist bustle but just a short stroll to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's a budget hotel, but clean and appears to have been recently renovated. We were only there overnight so didn't try out the breakfast or the WiFi. I recommend this hotel. Location is excellent, staff is very helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is good, however more or less the same every day. You have a panoramic view to the see from the breakfast room on the 6th floor. Next beach is just in front of the hotel, on the other side of the road. Several local buses stop here, which is very good if you want to explore the islands. (Station name: Antik.) Wifi is free and there is also an internet room (2,5 euros/hour) with computers
