  was convenient as a night stay as we had a wedding reception nearby thus avoiding having to take the ferry back to Malta right after during the night. Hotel is centrally located in Marsalforn close to beach. - The staff were very helpful and friendly,they made us feel welcome and not just a number.   IL-GIRNA Residence is a Guest House with 5***** Attitude and Service Marie, the owner, with her warm freindly personality, couldn't do enough for her guests. She made you feel like it was your home too. Room cleaned daily, towels changed daily, Bed sheets changed every 2 days. Fridge Freezer on each floor for Guest use. Marie will do her best to order anything her customer needs, bike's, car hire, boat trips - Il-Girna II Residence is situated in a quiet location with ample parking space around. One has the possibility of going for a walk with breathtaking views of the countryside or else head towards Ta' Cenc cliffs, both of which are advisable to wear comfortable footwear. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and kids are made to feel at home. We had two rooms, both spacious and immaculately clean but one of them needed some minor repairs.   Our stay at Lantern was excellent! This hotel is family run, and the caretaker, Joseph, did everything he could to ensure a pleasant stay, including staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast (made in traditional Maltese style by Joseph and his family) was freshly made and very good. The family that run this place worked extremely hard to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet requests from guests. The fan in my room was ample to provide relief from unseasonable heat & breakfast had a variety of choices including Fresh Fruit, Cereal, Breads, Ham, Salami, Chese, Cakes and Bacon and eggs (cooked as per your request) I thank the Saliba family for their Hospitality!
