  The hotel is very pleasant and the staff were very helpful. However, the spectacular setting sets this hotel apart. The hotel overlooks Xlendi Bay and the sea view rooms have fantastic views. We splurged for a terrace suite. Overall, this hidden gem is among the best places we have stayed and we will go out of our way t - St Patrick's is right on the beach. It has a generous breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and the room was very comfy. Love the ambiance and the soft bed. The air-conditioning is a real plus. Also, if you need the bus it is right behind the hotel and takes you to the main historical city, Victoria. Great hotel and staff!

  The hotel is squeaky clean, has extraordinary sea views and a great restaurant, and its location on gorgeous Xlendi Bay makes it the best three star hotel my wife and I have ever experienced. Although the rooms are small, the area is so beautiful that we spent most of our time outside, wandering the trails along the rocky cliffs.   IL-GIRNA Residence is a Guest House with 5***** Attitude and Service Marie, the owner, with her warm freindly personality, couldn't do enough for her guests. She made you feel like it was your home too. Room cleaned daily, towels changed daily, Bed sheets changed every 2 days. Fridge Freezer on each floor for Guest use. One has the possibility of going for a walk with breathtaking views of the countryside or else head towards Ta' Cenc cliffs, both of which are advisable to wear comfortable footwear. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and kids are made to feel at home. We had two rooms, both spacious and immaculately clean but one of them needed some minor repairs.   The apartment was beautiful, characterful, and well-kept. Terrace with shared pool had a lovely view. Electric blanket came in very useful in January! Be aware that some of these apartments have separate bedrooms reached via outside stairs - you may need a torch at night.   Can not fault the place .... If you want to "chillax" in a lovely place with a great pool, no noise, relaxing atmoshere then look no further! Apartments are great, very comfortable and with everything you need ..... There is a handy supermarket a five minute drive away with good prices.
