Booking a single room I was surprised getting a spacious double room, with big window, having lots of natural light, which is one of the most important things for me. I like a lot our swimming pool which was opened during 10 hours each day. The Residence is located strictly in the centre of St. Julian's. Very helpful and friendly staff, whenever we asked Dieter was always willing to help. Fantastic location to Paceville (literally like a 5 min walk) and easy access to the rest of Malta by bus which is really cheap. The hotel itself is basic but lovely pool on the outside (though we went in off season so couldn't use), student bar and restaurant all integrated.

I was there for a week and I really liked the relaxed atmosphere, met some really nice people there too.
The beds are comfortable, there is a kitchen to cook in and a nice living room and garden to hang out together.
Penny, the hostess, is welcoming and makes a tasty breakfast :)
Will definitely go back there next time I'm in Malta.

My boyfriend and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, all have a little balcony, the facilities are good (toiletries, hair dryer, fridge, safe) the pool area is lovely, the views over the town are nice. The hotel was very quiet despite being very near the nightlife area. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good, a continental mix with many options. Short walk to shops and the bus stops. And free wifi. A great hotel :D
