  Our apartment was newly renovated and fully equipped. All towelling & bedding was new and our beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in whilst on holiday. Even small items like salt & pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel, dishcloths were provided. We also had an iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster & microwave. We had a ... hva folk sier » small leak in our bathroom and mentioned this to the receptionist. Upon return to our apartment later that day we noticed our bathroom floor was comp - Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.   Good connection with Valetta by bus and Ferries by bus or c 10 mins walk. Good beach club with large swimming pool and convenient staircase to sea (not for children or thouse who do not swim fairly well). Quiet location, away from busy and noisy embankment, but less than 100 m from sea
