  Best family holiday so far. Melleiha has the most child friendly beach in Malta, it is also one of the largest. The apartment is located in the centre of Melleiha high street and a short bus ride from the beach (€2.60 adult return) or 20 mins walk (long steep hill).   Our apartment was newly renovated and fully equipped. All towelling & bedding was new and our beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in whilst on holiday. Even small items like salt & pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel, dishcloths were provided. We also had an iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster & microwave. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.
