  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... cosa dice la gente » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. I was a solo traveler who wanted to explore the whole country, and for that the location was great. I would definitively come back, I am already missing the bacon and eg

  Customer service was second-to-none. Host and hostess very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Eve's 'special' eggs were a delight for breakfast! As the room we had was not being immediately occupied the day we left, we were afforded a late afternoon checkout to accommodate our flight times, at no extra cost - fantastic! They are generous and offered us to attend their events and to make drinks on several occaisions.

We never heard anyone else through the walls despite the hotel being very full.   I loved the location! Right next to the famous Blue Lagoon and with two little sandy bays of its own too. We booked for 3 nights and used the island as a base to explore Gozo on one day and also make a trip to Mdina in Malta one day. Overall the boats are frequent as various companies are available.   We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils.
