Very friendly sisters and their father who made me feel welcome. They gave some very helpful tips. The room and bathroom (great shower!) were very nice and everything was very clean. Good location, close to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets and the bus stop. Very good breakfast with homemade cakes and fresh fruit.   Our stay at Lantern was excellent! This hotel is family run, and the caretaker, Joseph, did everything he could to ensure a pleasant stay, including staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast (made in traditional Maltese style by Joseph and his family) was freshly made and very good. The family that run this place worked extremely hard to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet requests from guests.   The hotel is very pleasant and the staff were very helpful. However, the spectacular setting sets this hotel apart. The hotel overlooks Xlendi Bay and the sea view rooms have fantastic views. Overall, this hidden gem is among the best places we have stayed and we will go out of our way t - St Patrick's is right on the beach. It has a generous breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and the room was very comfy. Love the ambiance and the soft bed. The air-conditioning is a real plus. Also, if you need the bus it is right behind the hotel and takes you to the main historical city, Victoria. Great hotel and staff!
