  The hotel is very pleasant and the staff were very helpful. However, the spectacular setting sets this hotel apart. The hotel overlooks Xlendi Bay and the sea view rooms have fantastic views. We splurged for a terrace suite. It has a generous breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and the room was very comfy. Love the ambiance and the soft bed. The air-conditioning is a real plus. Also, if you need the bus it is right behind the hotel and takes you to the main historical city, Victoria. Great hotel and staff!

  très beau décor, état neuf,confortable et agréable,avions pris la vue sur la mer,crique magnifique et baignade a deux pas.Le restaurant de l'hotel remarquable "Zafiro" - Tout. Il mériterait un 4* si la chambre et salle de bain étaient un peuplus grandes et qu'il y avait un espace détente en cas de mauvais temps(pas eu besoin).

  Our stay at Lantern was excellent! This hotel is family run, and the caretaker, Joseph, did everything he could to ensure a pleasant stay, including staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast (made in traditional Maltese style by Joseph and his family) was freshly made and very good. The family that run this place worked extremely hard to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet requests from guests. The fan in my room was ample to provide relief from unseasonable heat & breakfast had a variety of choices including Fresh Fruit, Cereal, Breads, Ham, Salami, Chese, Cakes and Bacon and eggs (cooked as per your request) I thank the Saliba family for their Hospitality!
