La maison est très propre et le jardin est vraiment magnifique. Nous sommes à côté de la ville mais dans un quartier résidentiel très tranquille sans nuisance sonore. The Pool area on the roof was fun. The rooms were lovely clean and
fresh. Loved the bathroom being seperate from the toilet. Having Wifi
access meant I could keep upto date with my business in the uk. I
travelled with my sister for our annual short break and we loved it.

The building is unique and interesting - nothing boring here, but not too much either. The welcome was just right - the hosts are friendly and hospitable, but not intrusive. They were helpful, kind and accommodating. Everything in the guest house felt well cared-for and clean, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my second time at Bla Dorren, and it has been just right once again! The beautiful building is decorated simply which enhances the beauty of the high ceilings and tile floors and the abundant light from outside. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. The location has been quite convenient, near the bay, near the bus, plenty of dining, and many places to walk. The hosts are kind and attentive, but never intrude.

Location was excellent for getting around any direction in Malta. Definitely recommended for touristy people because there are so many and maybe too many tourist organizers on the other side of the road by the port selling you deals and tour packages.

It's a budget hotel, but clean and appears to have been recently renovated. We were only there overnight so didn't try out the breakfast or the WiFi. The location is absolutely unbeatable--within five minutes' walk of the harbour ferry tours, the ferry to Valletta, and all major bus routes including an express route to the airport. Staff were very accommodating, both in terms of the stay in the hostel itself and giving us advice on how to get around Malta. The location is excellent, a short walk from Sliema, St Julien's and Paceville, while the bus stop is just 50m away. There is a small general store across the road. Hostel has free internet, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as an extensive kitchen. It was easy to meet fellow hostelers too, and there was a good friendly spirit around the building.

I have spent a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to stay in room 601. It was comfortable, clean and best of all, overlooking the the bay. On arrival the receptionist took us not only to our room but guided us to the restaurant where breakfast is served. As the hotel is on different levels this was a great service. Albert and Violet are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool is lovely and the meals were fantastic and value for money. You must try Alberts home made wine it is delicious (we brought 2 bottles home with us to have at Christmas). I recommend this hotel. Location is excellent, staff is very helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is good, however more or less the same every day. You have a panoramic view to the see from the breakfast room on the 6th floor. Next beach is just in front of the hotel, on the other side of the road. Several local buses stop here, which is very good if you want to explore the islands. (Station name: Antik.) Wifi is free and there is also an internet room (2,5 euros/hour) with computers
