Hi, i just went for a business trip to malta and stayed at the Europa Hotel. The hotel is very nice, inviting hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I must say the location of this place is great... not to forget the amazing seaviews from their rooms... That really is a must have. Location was excellent for getting around any direction in Malta. Definitely recommended for touristy people because there are so many and maybe too many tourist organizers on the other side of the road by the port selling you deals and tour packages.

It's a budget hotel, but clean and appears to have been recently renovated. We were only there overnight so didn't try out the breakfast or the WiFi. The location is absolutely unbeatable--within five minutes' walk of the harbour ferry tours, the ferry to Valletta, and all major bus routes including an express route to the airport. Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.
