  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... what people say » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. I was a solo traveler who wanted to explore the whole country, and for that the location was great. I would definitively come back, I am already missing the bacon and eg

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VB Apartments. The owner was friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. The breakfast supplies were an added bonus as were the computer and wifi access. The apartment is situated very conveniently.   When we arrived we were told that due to renovation of our rooms we could not stay at the Pergola but their sister hotel the Solana Hotel 5 mins away.   My 8th stay at the Clover in the last 2 years,that should be recommendation enough!!! Excellent value for money.Good location for bus station,shops,pubs,restaurants and the sea.Rooms cleaned everyday.   We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils. The hotel was not especially booked, but it pleased us again to notice that we got nice seaview balcony (not all balconies... what people say » feature seaview, some overlook a side street). Excellent value for money for those who prefer to prepare food independently (avoiding english breakfa - l'emplacement de l'hôtel : facile d'accès et calme.
