  Booking a single room I was surprised getting a spacious double room, with big window, having lots of natural light, which is one of the most important things for me. I was a little bit sad that I was not that lucky to get a room with balcony, but I was happy with my room anyway. The staff is really helpful, friendly, giving you trip advices.   We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils.   I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VB Apartments. The owner was friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. The breakfast supplies were an added bonus as were the computer and wifi access. The apartment is situated very conveniently.   The location is quiet and there is a grocery shop nearby. Great for getting around on foot and with public transport in Sliema/Balluta Bay. The staff are very friendly and helpful.   Best family holiday so far. Melleiha has the most child friendly beach in Malta, it is also one of the largest. The apartment is located in the centre of Melleiha high street and a short bus ride from the beach (€2.60 adult return) or 20 mins walk (long steep hill). The high street has all you need with regards to restraunts, gift and food shops. ... what people say » The apartment was perfect, large and clean - almost like new. All facilities needed were included, along with a washer dryer which really helped keep - We appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the hosts, who were only too happy to help with any questions or queries, and source anything that we needed. The apartment was the best we'd stayed in. It's like a home away from home, complete with laundry, two good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It had everything we needed plus more. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough to anyone wanting superior accommodation in beachside Mellieha. We could just see the ocean from our balcon

  My 8th stay at the Clover in the last 2 years,that should be recommendation enough!!! Excellent value for money.Good location for bus station,shops,pubs,restaurants and the sea.Rooms cleaned everyday. Friendly,helpful staff.Many thanks to Amanda,Frances and Joseph who all helped made our stay a pleasant one.Would recommend anytime !!! Everything was positive - I have spent a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to stay in room 601. It was comfortable, clean and best of all, overlooking the the bay. On arrival the receptionist took us not only to our room but guided us to the restaurant where breakfast is served.
