  Simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários - When we arrived we were told that due to renovation of our rooms we could not stay at the Pergola but their sister hotel the Solana Hotel 5 mins away.   Mixed feelings about this hotel. First impressions were good - nice big marble lobby with comfortable lounge. Also my room, when I finally found it, was large, attractive and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. It's just that getting to it was a pain. The hotel is situated on the main road through Mellieha, making it very easy to find and, with a bus stop immediately outside, a handy base for travelling to Gozo, Valletta and Mdina.   nada - The room was of very high standard. I strongly recommend rooms on the back-side of the hotel since they were much more quiet. The rooms were clean and the hotel very nice. Also, the staff were very helpful! - great service at a very good price

  I loved the location! Right next to the famous Blue Lagoon and with two little sandy bays of its own too. We booked for 3 nights and used the island as a base to explore Gozo on one day and also make a trip to Mdina in Malta one day. Overall the boats are frequent as various companies are available.
