It's a budget hotel, but clean and appears to have been recently renovated. We were only there overnight so didn't try out the breakfast or the WiFi. Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.

Hidden gem in the sea of expensive but very basic hotels in St Julian. 1/ super friendly staff and atmosphere - huge thanks to the TEAM! Lots of things organized by the team to help the guests enjoy their stay: bbq on the roof, joint bar crowls and more 2/ convenient location - walking distane to pacevilleve night life and restaurans in the bay 3/value for money 4/ comfort beds and clean beddding 5/ safety 6/ facilities: I loved the roof terrace, free and stable wifi throughout, kitchen. I wis - when i ve arrived im was surprised because i was waited by Marc ,however I was late in the evening. it's a very nice hostel clean and cheap. I was feld good, the kitchen, the roof, the respect between the differents guests. the next time i think i will stay for a longtime.

La Vallette was a really very successful choice of ours. We were very much pleased with its location - very near the main sights and famous restaurants. It's also very comfortable to get to the bus station from the hotel and travel about the island. Our flat with the sea view was very comfortable and homey. Our children were happy to get toy horses as a present and on the whole I should say our emotions during the holiday were extremely positive.
