  Nice renovated old house in the old neighborhood. Close to some attractions (Hypogeum + Tarxien Temples). Very friendly and talkative hosts. No problem with parking close to the property. You stay in the big family house (five children). If you prefer to have a full privacy at quiet place, this property is not for you. Roosters have ensured - Absolutely recommended! While booking you should consider that it's a family-run guest house - as for us, much more intersting place than a five star hotel. Not for petty-minded finicking people jiggling the staff all the time but respectful ones who are rather curious to a wonderful family living in Malta too.   I stayed at the Sally Port self- catering apartments for 5 nights. I wanted somewhere quiet yet close to Valetta and its tourist attractions. The Sally Port Apartments in Senglea were a perfect choice for me. We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harb... what people say » our water surface intensified it. As if they were in Suleiman's army again and shooting at forts. It was very interesting to wake up at 8am gunfire an - Views of the Grand Harbour could not be bettered. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.
